With over 26 years of experience, Jean Philippe Inc. is a premier fragrance company that develops, produces and distributes beauty products of premium value such as Intimate essential oils, Intimate naturals, Intimate secret etc. They have a diverse portfolio of prestige brands which are sold in more than 100 countries throughout the world.
Challenge
Having formulated and manufactured these skincare products, which were printed on a substrate adhered easily to a tapered bottle with thin walled plastic. However the challenge came when during the filling process as the bottle heats up when the lotion is filled. As the bottle cools, the shape changes, causing the labels to pucker or lift. The company then needed to engage a label printer partner that would deliver consistently professional results, while working hand-in-hand with the team in charge of the filling process of the bottles.
Solution
Stepping up to the challenge, Jean Phillipe worked closely with Netpack who offered a solution which alleviated their problem. Netpack worked to create a solution by designing a tapered label. They further went and researched a substrate that would not lift or wrinkle during the filling process and after cooling. This material is economical, impact resistant, and provides a good moisture barrier. In addition, it had flexible properties with an added additional adhesive protection. Netpack working together with their client outlined a consolidated, tiered label pricing structure which was aimed at preventing any increased costs that might be incurred from sourcing the different materials to be used in producing the labels. This ensured that the procedure was completed within Jean Philippe’s company budget.
Netpack provided them a custom solution ensuring that they produced a packaging that fit their client’s specific needs, while creating something that is distinct and truly one-of-a-kind.
The client accrued the project success to the fact that Netpack had worked on a previous product and they believed they would deliver a complete service, all the way from product selection through to testing and implementation. Netpack provided them with a product that helped them with cost savings, quality improvements and important sustainability wins. Jean Phillippe went ahead to say that they will continue implementing the solution into other areas of the business where this new material could give them similar benefits.
As always, Netpack provided accessible service and value-added solutions that saved time and money for Jean Phillippe ultimately making the label process pretty easy to achieve from start to finish.
